Our Mission Statement:

Peaceful Pastures Alpaca Farm breeds light and white quality females to show ring winning herdsires, producing award winning alpacas.

Farm Description:

Peaceful Pastures Alpaca Farm is nestled in the mist of Shelby County Kentucky, the Saddlebred horse capitol of the World, and in the mist of Thoroughbred, Arabian, and Paso Fino horse farms.  The same wonderful agricultural and geological advantages that make the blue grass area of Kentucky a haven for horse breeding and foal production, is perfect for alpaca ranching.  The rich blue grass and orchard grass fields, fed from the calcium rich soil aid in production of healthy cria production and rapid growth.

Each animal receives individual care, supplemented by a genuine love for these unique creations of God. The owners provide daily hands-on care, and know each animal indivually.

Our breeding objectives include white and light colored animals, capable of producing high quality fiber required by the fashion industry.    Our focus is  on high luster, fineness and volume.    We accomplish this by breeding our females to the best fiber quality males available in the marketplace while adjusting to changing industry standards.

We stand by our word, and offer honesty and integrity as principles by which we are measured.  Our low-key sales approach allows each buyer find that "just-right" animal for their farm.

We specialize in helping small acreage owners (5 - 10 acres) start this wonderful alpaca journey whether pursuing high quality breeding stock, or high quality fiber producing animals.

We also offer the highest quality equipment, feed, hay and help, ensuring animal safety and quality nutrition for the experienced breeder or the novice animal lover.
